always says "pending" #84

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. any browsing/any site

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
IP does not appear.  Always says "pending".
No menu on click.  Hover tooltip displays local IP.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.9 with FF 3.0.19
Worked fine before (previous to 1.9 update?)

Please provide any additional information below.
network.proxy.socks_remote_dns is false.

Downgraded to previous version (1.2rc4). It works now. The new one is 
apparently not compatible with the outdated browser I use (FF 3.0.19).
