Hello, the product looks very interesting and you have put a ton of work in it. I'd like to review the documentation and installation procedures but it appears I must create a Patreon account to just review it. Those are promotional materials for your product so, i would think, they should be out in the "open" for viewing.

I did manage to find a link exposed in the Patreon that I could cut and paste to get to the documentation. It shouldn't be this hard.

Also, when I got into the documentation, even though there was a table of contents, there were no page numbers .. :( :(

Also, I don't see any copyrights anywhere. You need to protect your work!

Anyway, I look forward to testing and using your product (mostly for home display of pictures/videos from Scuba diving trips).

Thanks

A little update from me.

I did purchase the annual account and downloaded it into the Pi I had laying around.

Installation was pretty simple (though, a "Getting Started" guide might be handy.

I loaded up a couple of my pictures and then when to the Store and pulled the Christmas package. Lovely pictures. They displayed as expected. This morning I was looking in the store to see what else I could add and noticed, no where on the store page does it indicate what I've already loaded (I know its up in the other section but bouncing around isn't great). Would be nice to have a list of what has been pulled down.

Suggestion for the store. Find one of the good Fireplace videos...

Great so far! Still very much playing!

Gary this is great feedback. Sometimes when we're on the 'inside' of things we miss the experience of how to get things started, and I'll work on this in the new year. I have a few tasks such as this on my backlog to help get users acquainted faster with the software and such. As you're seeing, we have some bugs we need to get figured out for the current users and we are focused there for a bit. But there's a number of things from a youtube update to documentation accessability that need to be done, and will be worked on soon. I do hope to have a mechanism for a demo at some point even.

The store section to show what is purchased' is a great idea. We have a webpage revamp we want to do and I can try to see if I can incorporate something there. Right now the store is more of a 'make it easy to get some content on the frame' than a full fledged proper store, but that's where I hope to get it!

A fireplace video sounds great as well. The content in the store is carefully made to try to keep astray of any copyright issues, so to put a fireplace video in there I have to find one that is either public domain, something I can license, etc.

In the meantime, if you go to the experimental tab, turn off 'automatic mode' which will turn off the slideshow timer, and then you can put something like the link to one of theseinto the youbube link (vertical if you're vertical, or find a good horizontal one, or a window with snow outside, etc)
