Dial support doesn't seem to work #127

I recently moved to a new PC, and exported my StreamDeck profiles from the old PC to the new PC.

I was using your plugin assigned to one of the dials on my StreamDeck +, to control the volume of the default audio output device (not for a specific app). However, on the new PC if I filter the action list by 'dials', nothing in your plugin is listed.

I can assign the 'Set Audio Device Volume' action to a button, and have it increase and decrease the volume in steps, but there doesn't appear to be an action suitable for a dial.

I initially installed the plugin from the StreamDeck store, and after noticing it didn't work tried downloading the version here on GitHub. However, both produce the same results.

StreamDeck software version is 6.4.1.19697, plugin version 3.7.2.

Hey @adhawkins, in Stream Deck, if you right click an action under "Sound Deck" in the actions bar, what version do you see? I am currently using 3.10.1 and have 3 actions that have dial support:

3.7.2. That's what I get from the Elgato store, and it's the latest I can find here.

The latest version, 3.10.1, is currently in beta but should enable dial support for you. Please let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks, I must have picked that up from somewhere on the old PC.

I only see 2 actions for dials:

The second is the one I wanted, so that's the main thing!

Thanks

ah yes, my apologies, the "Set App Volume" is in another branch and isn't yet in the current beta. Glad I could help! 🥳
