Play/Restart Action on Sampler Recordings #73

I'm wondering if there was any future updates to the actions within the Sampler, specifically the Play/Restart option to allow you to mash the button several time getting a repeating action on the the sample.

I know this is available through the built in soundboard: play audio option, if that helps any.

Maybe I'm just missing it but I think it would be a great feature to be able to do this.

Hey @el-moxie, the latest beta includes a lot of improvements to the sampler; I think what you're aiming for is available as part of these changes. You can download the latest beta directly from here and try it.

Hey Geeky.. I installed the beta and noticed there is a new "play/overlap" option but that just repeats the sample. Having the ability to preset the button and have it restart was what I was thinking about so when you do it, it sounds like "S..S...S...S..Sampling is fun!"

This should be achievable with the "Play/Next" option; it's a little misleading as it's designed for playlists, but essentially a sample is just a single-file playlist, so it will play the same again on re-press.
