These 50-500 Microscope USB cameras are not the way to go. They are really hard to focus in general and much harder with the belt moving at 72mm a sec.

There is a lot to say about this...

ELP looks like a great company to get cameras from. They sell on AliExpress, eBay, and Amazon.

Here are two more companies that stock low end machine vision cameras. It would be nice to get a camera with global shutter, but I have yet to see one under $50.
