Sides only 19.1mm wide to make imaging easer. Clear belt just to start using it. It will be needed later.

Build another Imaging conveyor: First build another spacing conveyor and learn from that. First task try a clear belt in the old one. Triangle design so there is room for a camera under the belt, and the belt is each to change. Motor is at the end, the point of the triangle. 3 bin design, 2 boxes and the drop off. 3 bins: copper, zinc, special & not confident. Solenoid sorts to two 4x4x4 boxes so the conveyor needs to be 4” tall. No light strip in this design Guides and settle space before the camera and the IR sensor. Solenoid plate should have locator tabs IR sensor hole needs to be smaller, Test first. Make it 1mm, then drill? Lift side rails above the IR sensor 0.5mm?

All Done:

The hopper and accumulator conveyors: Both double length as before. Hooked together, motor to motor as one with the current base connectors. Both angle up the scanning conveyor. The angle will be adjustable, by putting a block/book under the end for now. Make standard motor end plates. Make an end plate filler when the conveyors are end to end.

Hopper conveyor: Change side rails to 42mm taller legs, rounded to change angles. Extend the side rails to form a hopper. *Add another end plate on top

Accumulator conveyor: The drop off end needs to be on a -23.2 degree angle, so the base place will be angled. It will hook into the large scanning base plate with tabs with room to angle a bit. Make an end plate without feet It needs to hook into base plate.

Scanning conveyor: Just make one to see how the belt runs. Cut and build it! Don’t wire every solenoid!

100mm belt height. Under Camera: Usb100wo3m 6mm lens 80mm from bottom of board to top of belt Usb connector on “bottom of image” / motor side.
1.8mm thickness x 6mm holding area 38.2mm *12mm clearance under

End at 463 Y Clear belt There will need something frosted, or paper to make the back lighting work better? Motor is at the drop off end. 6 solenoids to 6 boxes. Solenoids every 60mm on alternating sides.
Solenoid plates will be small and individual for each solenoid. Unwanted zincs will fall off the end into a bucket.

Closing to refocus the issue to: Tune and rebuild 3 conveyor system (Hopper, Accumulator and Scanning)
