We always had a default template gems, that was the base for your own templates. With the move to a responsive layout we should consider how we can stimulate the move to a single base template.

To consider:

gems has javascript, round icons
ck-editor

Maybe we can also fix the base settings in a template, like the layout positions layout file to use etc. Have the template provide the settings, and allow to override in the project/application ini.
