Make use of boostiostream library to read gzip genotypes.

Hi Maarten, Thanks for the work! Can you squash commits b69d0adb and 210b3786? That would make the history less cluttered. If you need help with that, please let me know.

I also just created a new branch called read-gzipped-genotypes. Can you resubmit your PR to that branch? Sorry for the extra work, I had hoped I could create or at least change the target branch of a PR, but it seems that Github hasn't implemented that yet.
