All formatting is done through the post editing page using the tools. Make sure you're in the "visual" tab (on the top right) and not the "text" tab. You should be able to change the font size, family, formatting. Copy pasting from a word document usually won't work too well and you might have to paste without formatting (shift+ctrl+v) and then reformat for the best effect.
Wordpress might change fonts back to a universal font just because the site is built this way. Try to change a posts font through the editing page again. If it doesn't work and you need various fonts we can look into changing the code to allow various fonts (but I think it should be doable right now without any changes)
When I'm editing a post, I'm able to highlight a part of the text and choose a different font style and size. But a difficult problem for us has been that when we want to know what a particular text's font and size is, we can't see an indication for those in the "Font Family" and "Font Sizes" fields. The font type and size are not checked off or highlighted in the drop-down menu.
Sometimes the font we select in the WP editing page doesn't show up, or it shows up in the place we want it to, but then the font style and/or point size of a different section of the text changes to something different.
When we put our cursor in a section of the text, the font and size fields won't show us which style or size it is, so that we can match another bit of text we paste in.
When pasting text from a WORD document into a WP editing page, does WP change the fonts it to a default size/style. When I had asked for flexibility to change font style/sizes, Hayg warned us to make sure we keep the fonts consistent, but it seems like WP is changing the fonts when text is being pasted into it. Sometimes, even when we try to globally make all the fonts the same in a page, WP won't do it, and there'll be different font sizes within the same text page.
