General BFO-GenEpiO-GEEM Compatibility Issue #14

Closed Public-Health-Bioinformatics closed 5 years ago

Public-Health-Bioinformatics commented 6 years ago

After bringing in the upper level BFO axioms recently, it was revealed that GenEpiO has a number of contradictions arising as a result of entities belonging to classes (i.e. multi-homed) that are disjoint, and with GEEM specifications as IAO classes having components that referenced material entities too directly. All of those issues are currently being worked on and should be resolved shortly.

This issue is resolved in GenEpiO. Axioms under the data standard /draft data standard / data standard component that had 'has component' some [Non-IAO entity] have been revised so that only IAO components are referenced. The GEEM code for reading in the new specification definitions will be revised shortly.
