When there is a lot of empty data, the mutations over time looks weird (or even wrong on first sight). It looks like the first column was much too wide:

Maybe we should indicate that there is data, but it's simply 0? Coloring "0" in a very light grey? Marking the end of the first column so that one doesn't get the impression that the layout is broken?
