Disclaimer: before setting these parameters, it would be useful to clearly define to which kind of decisions they will be applied.
There parameters are intended for decisions regarding general rules that affects the whole DAO
Support required: A 2/3 majority to make sure that the new rules find wide acceptance within the community
Quorum: 0.1, to make sure that important and necessary decisions are not stopped by abstentionism. ANT holders who are interested in participating in DAO governance have plenty of time to participate in the vote. If they do not, they accept the decisions of those who have participated.
Vote Duration: provided that every proposal will remain open for discussion on the forum for at least 2 weeks, 1 week is more than enough for voting.
Delegating voting period: Delegates have a great responsibility, for which they will also be financially rewarded. For this reason, and because their vote can to a large extent influence the final outcome, it is permissible to require them to cast their votes during the first two days when voting is open.
Thought provoking: what if they voted last instead and let small shareholders (likely community members) express themselves first??
Quiet ending period: 2 days to two days to make sure that the rollover does not happen either at the last minute or over the weekend when perhaps many people are disconnected
Quiet ending extension: 2 days to look for further consensus
Execution delay: 3 days to provide an opportunity for those who would like to quiterage even if the vote ending falls in the weekend
Proposal and Challenge deposit: set low to provide an opportunity even for those without large financial resources to propose changes related to governance.
Regarding fund request proposals, the proposal deposit should be set as a percentage to the amount of funds requested (5-10%), with a relatively low challenge deposit (300-400 ANT)
