Update install #17

Unless people have very old OS, installing from the installers for macos or windows is easy. it is LInux that is hard, or old macOS for people who dont use any repos.

Actually, only reading the instructions is already a scary step. What is nicely organized is the wiki where one can pick only the case of interest.

And even for Macs. Imagine that the use does not have a compiler (and does not even know exactly what that is). So no, it's not only Linux. The dmg is as easy as the Win installer, but the others not.

I added that mac users on older OS should consider updating. I continue to be amazed of how many people using macs only update at gunpoint and then find them selves doing massive work when they must upgrade.
