Detailed Description

1. Create ticket

2. Assign ticket to a helpdesk member

3. Direct the user to information about GDI software on the web (available in the User Portal)

4. If available information is not sufficient

Direct the user to relevant people according to areas of expertise as specified in a contact list maintained by the central helpdesk.

5. Update the web information resource.

Make sure that relevant information is added to the web information resource.

6. Close ticket.

Nice to have, but probably not critical. The SOP can be used for monitoring questions about GDI software.
