Would it be possible to enable both URLs to end up on the correct page? i.e. a redirect of the former to the later (or vice-versa).
I am now going to update the GenSC.org pages links to point to the mixs ID URLs (as they are broken at the moment because I originally used the name based URLs)
I believe using the MIXS IDs is technically the better option and is worthwhile for me to change the gensc.org pages to use them, but for a person wanting to go directly to a page by typing in the url it would be beneficial if they can redirect from the name/alias too.
previously the documentation pages were available via a URL that used the extension name, e.g. https://genomicsstandardsconsortium.github.io/mixs/Agriculture/
Now they are available via the MIXS ID number, e.g. https://genomicsstandardsconsortium.github.io/mixs/0016018/
