Hi I am trying to share my internet connection on one android to another via usb. Is it possible to recompile the gnirehtet server for android? I tried running it on adb on my android but it says 64 bit ELF file.

I don't know, but you would need adb on the device too.

One possibility would be to adapt the java version of the server, and use an adb library, like https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/issues/100.
