Audio issue #5143

i been using scrcpy for a week or two now, i use it to capture a game i play on my mobile to stream, i noticed when i turn on my mic in game on my phone the audio capture dosent work i just get the video on my pc, no game sound no mic sound, but in phone i get mic sound from teammate, as soon as i turn my mic off in phone it fixes itself, as a streamer i had to stream with game audio and as a gamer i had to talk with my teammates ,please guide my or if its a app issue im letting You know sir.tried with more then one phone!

game name - BGMI windows 11 phone running android 14

to com problema, quando vou entrar ele sai sosinho falando que deu problema no audio e logo em seguida aparece essa mensagem:

ERROR: Could not open audio device: WASAPI can't find requested audio endpoint: Elemento não encontrado. ERROR: Demuxer error WARN: Killing the server... Press Enter to continue...

Sorry sir to disturb You again but does this mean the new update got my previous audio issue with mic on in game fixed by default or i have to do something else after to make it work?

There is a new audio capture method, to be enabled by:

scrcpy --audio-source=playback

I'm not sure it will solve your issue, but it is worth trying.

If it didn't work how to revert back to default? Or if i just close the shell it'll revert back itself

scrcpy does not store any state. Every time you start it, it only uses the parameters you pass.

Command works but does the audio issue resolved?

I test it on discord mobile, it works fine. Not on game yet.

Did You use the duplicate command or just playback?

Umm I found something wrong. So previously I only test the mic on discord, and it works fine. And to test audio playback, I play some YouTube video with discord mic still on, the audio output works as expected (it out from my computer). But when tried play jockey music on discord, the audio output come from my android not from my computer. So yeah, the problem still exist...

So it means when Uh push two channels of audio from the same app it bugs put chooses to play it on mobile instead

Do Uh know the app name douwan, it works perfectly and doesn't have this audio issue I have tried it, it even works fine on A12, but thats a paid app, i been using scrcpy for a month now , other then the audio issue I'm hooked ❤️ And a question ik its not a form bt anyone knows any opensource app like scrcpy for iOS?
