Dear support-team,

according to the data delivery plan of 3DGEO-EU we have some test data (WP1 deliverable 1.2):

_NLS3DZMAP 11 single ASCII files( each layer in one file): spatial data for usage in 3D database.

This you will find in the zip file “ZMAP_ASCII.zip” __

_NLS3DGIS 11 single ASCII files( each layer in one file): spatial data for usage in 3D database.

This you will find in the zip file “ESRI_ASCII.zip” __

_NLS3Darea 1 ESRI polygonshape file: spatial data.

This you will find in the zip file “3DGEO_EU_WP1PILOT_AREA.zip”

_NLS3DNETCDF This you will find in the zip file “NETCDF.zip”

You can download the data here:

https://storage.driveonweb.de/dowdoc/367b4d841176d90a504d33d434d124690ae3c77519ae9890

Please note that the 3D model NLS3D is not public yet. Please make sure, while testing, that it is for internal use only! If this is not possible, please contact me.

Regards,

Lars

Merging issues, (should have been follow-on to this issue, but was created as new issue (343)

Hi,

I have replied the following to Lars. I could not find the issue on GitHub, so I couldn’t add it there too.

Cheers Martin

Dear Lars,

I have now downloaded your data.

We can try to import the data for the geological model into the model database without making it public available. I’ll ask one of my colleagues to do that. The importer we are working on support the ascii grid format (see http://egdi-public.gitlabpages.geus.dk/egdi-documentation/#/main-content/DeliveringDataToEGDI?id=delivering-3d-models) so I guess that this format will work.

Is it correct under stood that the data in NLS3D_ZMAP, NLS3D_GIS and NLS3D_NETCDF contains the same data on different formats?

I have done a quick check of the shapefile using QGIS and can see that the data are delivered in EPSG 3035 while EGDI by default works in EPSG 3034.

See http://egdi-public.gitlabpages.geus.dk/egdi-documentation/#/main-content/SpatialData?id=projections

I’m not much into spatial transformations so I’m not sure if this will give problems.

We have administration module where users from the different projects can upload and register their data. We have both a production and a test platform and I can arrange for a user account to the test platform if you are interested. You can see here how to get a user account to upload data to the production version of EGDI:

http://egdi-public.gitlabpages.geus.dk/egdi-documentation/#/main-content/AdministrationModule?id=getting-a-user-account

Best regards,

Martin

Dear Lars,

I can now confirm that the data on the ArcGIS ascii format is one of the supported formats. In order to import the data into the model database we will also need information’s about the coordinate system. When you are ready to deliver the model we hopefully have a user interface where you can deliver the model. Then you also need to add some extra information’s such as a description of the different layers.

Best regards,

Martin
