Error: unable to edit / delete layers from owner postgres #575

Hello again, I am now trying to structure the info in the final GeoConnect³d map a bit better, but some info was already uploaded there by GIP and I cannot re-group or delete them. Is it normal? In case it is, could I detail the changes I want so someone with appropriate access can implement them? Thank you

Hi Renata, Yes that is intensional. If a dataset is created by another project only this project can delete the dataset. On your projects map you should be able to delete the coupling and add new coupling to other layers. Cheers Martin

Hi Martin, thanks for the answer. I suspected this was the case, but I actually phrased a bit wrong the issue and it's the couplings owned by postgres I cannot edit/re-group/delete from the egdi-geoconnect3d map.

mh-geus-dk commented 3 years ago

Ahh communication... Ok now I understand. I thought you had created a new map but you are reusing the demonstration map from earlier in the project. You just tell me which coupling you want to have deleted. Cheers, Martin

My bad, urgency is impacting my communication skills :) Thanks for the quick answer. I wrongly thought this was the map we were supposed to use? It's working well so I hope no problem to move forward this way.

Coupling to delete: image

Couplings to put together under a group "Baseline geological information", and if not asking too much add some zeros to the sorting so that they appear in the bottom of the list image

Many thanks in advance!

mh-geus-dk commented 3 years ago

I have done that. Pls let me know if is didn't get it right ;-)

renatabarros commented 3 years ago

Hi Martin, still no changes appearing to me after logging out and in a few times

mh-geus-dk commented 3 years ago

I was doing it in test ;-/ pls check this map https://egditest01.geus.dk/egdi/?mapname=egdi_geoera_geoconnect3d If it ok I repeat the procedure in production

renatabarros commented 3 years ago

Ah yes, that's perfect! Thank you

mh-geus-dk commented 3 years ago

Now it is done ;-) Good luck with the rest!

renatabarros commented 3 years ago

Thanks Martin! Just one small issue, but after these changes no layers appear anymore in the viewer even though "layers always on" in the coupling is all set to yes. Any idea what might have happened?

renatabarros commented 3 years ago

Related issue: when couplings are set to keep layers always on, the filtering (e.g. below) does not work :(
