Here you mention that you modified Solarmon to talk directly to a Solis inverter using the internal Wifi interface. I was not able to find this change on github. Would it be possible to share it?

Hi Matt,

I have modified Solarmon. Happy to share. I have not put into Git but I can. Also thinking about creating a HACS package.

Attached is a zip file of the two parts needed. solis_direct.zip

I am currently on holiday and will not be home until the weekend.

Hi Geoff, thank you very much for the fast response. I think i was able to integrate it into Home Assistant. I will try to connect it to the inverter tomorrow. Today I am not at site. I will let you know how it went. Regards Matt

Thank you very much. It is working. Please really consider providing it via github. Not sure if a whole HACS package is necessary. But this is up to you :-)

Hi Matt,

Glad to hear that it's working. My understanding it that it is little effort to make it into a HACS package.

The reason for holding off putting it into github is some documentation is needed. It is on my todo, but not a priority for me at the moment.
