Hi,

I have YOCTO build setup as per the link below : https://wiki.phytec.com/productinfo/phycore-am57x/bsp-yocto-tisdk-am57xx/bsp-yocto-tisdk-am57xx-pd18-2-0-quickstart/bsp-yocto-tisdk-am57xx-pd17-1-1-quickstart

As per the above setup, the build is on morty.

Target : Want to include "meta-redhawk-sdr" to source.

I have fallowed steps to add meta-redhawk layer from below link : https://github.com/Geontech/meta-redhawk-sdr

Branch : I have tried rocko, thud and warrior. I have seen same ERROR in all the branch as mentioned.

Even i tried executing "bitbake redhawk-test-image", the ERROR is same.

For Branch : pyro and krogoth, i have facing library issue as below.

Can anyone help me, which branch of Readhawk is matches with yocto-morty branch and solution for above issues.

Purpose: Want to bring up the Device and Domain manager of Readhawk when we flash images generated from bitbake.

I apologize for the lack of a morty branch; we haven't had a need to support it.

Consequently, that branch (morty) and the ones immediately following it brought significant reorganization to how builds progress as well as the names of certain things like the python packages (which impacts DEPENDS/RDEPENDS, etc.). You can find out more details in the mega manual change logs for each release, but the gist is that one's whole build should be compatible with some specific version of the core layers. So picking the rocko branch of meta-redhawk-sdr as the example, all of your other layers should also be rocko-compatible. Otherwise, you're more likely to see the above kinds of errors.

My best guess about the libtool error is that the redhawk recipe is missing a DEPENDS against the package that would provide that library. Unfortunately I won't have the time to attempt a similar build here for a couple weeks, and even then, the build would be stuck back at 2.0.6 and would be missing a lot of the newer features found in the releases we do currently support.

Closing this issue since it's likely related to mixing yocto release versions. If you do get your build on a single release, supported by meta-redhawk-sdr, and still have problems, please feel free to reply here or open another issue.

I have target to add new meta layer "meta-redhawk-sdr" package to existing meta layers. So, i have cloned redhawk package from 'geotech' git hub and try to build.

I added new meta layer in 'build/conf/bblayers.conf' :${BSPDIR}/sources/meta-redhawk-sdr \

And after running command "MACHINE=am57xx-phycore-rdk bitbake arago-core-tisdk-image" iam getting below error (for command : "bitbake redhawk-gpp-image" geting same error)

Is i missed to add any package..or lib path ...? Please suggest me to overcome this issue and what mistake done from my side...?

This appears to be the same issue you posted at the tail of this person's other issue, where I've replied. Please see the response there and if once you, like the OP, create a build all using the same version of Yocto and are still having problems, then feel free to create a new issue.

I should point out I'm no longer actively involved with this project and I'm not sure who is. You may want to reach out to Geon directly for support (through the website) once you've done the above.
