Inspiration:

ETS20172 Two objects sliding on a frictionless surface, as represented above, collide and stick together. How much kinetic energy is converted into heat during the collision?

Suggested implementation A: Generate two masses, one with only x-axis velocity, one with only y-axis velocity. Select these velocities to be edges on a fractional scaling of one of the Special Right Triangles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_right_triangle

Provide the student one of the following pairs for each object: Velocity, KE KE, Mass Mass, Velocity

Request one of the following about the final state: Final total kinetic energy Kinetic energy lost as heat
