Receive a notification when my scenario has finished running #253

As a water scientist, I want to be able to receive a notification when my scenario has finished running, so that I can promptly deal with other tasks without constantly checking the progress of the simulation.

I think it is likely that this is not needed in this phase, since the wait is minimal. We need to have a demonstration to bring to the steering group and possibly discuss closing this issue.
