Currently, there is no option to provide some feedback to the user about the generation of the MPC solver. It would be useful to add a verbose option to spcies_gen_controller(). If set to true, the toolbox should display information about the solver that has been generated, including:
MPC formulation
Optimization method
Toolbox and code-generation options
Solver options
Files that have been generated (with their locations)
Confirmation that everything has been generated correctly and that the generation process has finished
