9 years ago While this is certainly an interesting feature for the package author, it would be cumbersome for the user. The former version allowed for an overwrite within the first 24 hours after the package upload. That way the author can correct major mistakes, while any early adopter won't miss this package in his project / package-dependency.
Would that 24-hour window be an acceptable solution for you?
