Unable to assign contact 1 to task 2. Function "Assign" #5

Open Geralddtan opened 2 years ago

I first assigned contact 1 to task 1, this worked. After that, I immediately assigned contact 2 to task 1. However, this gave an error when it should work. The reason is because I previously assigned a contact to another task and thus the contact list changed, causing the index of "contact 2" to not be present. However, I believe that this is a feature flaw because a user will likely want to assign many contacts to a task at one shot. This forces users to type "assign" function followed by "listc" function to add a new user. This is very troublesome for users who likely wants to assign many contacts at a time

Team's Response

Bug cannot be reproduce.

Reason: Reviewer mentioned that he tried to assign Contact 2 to Task 2 immediately after assigning Contact 1 to Task 1. However, by design, assign will not trigger any changes to either Task or Contact view (as shown by the screenshot below)

The reviewer should provide the exact steps in order for us to reproduce said bug.

Furthermore, even if this were true, the inconvenience is minor as the command required to list all contacts is extremely short and easy to type.
