Data collection protocol

We need a step by step protocol about how the data should be collected. This should include good practices about consistent file naming, error handling and data backup. @cpaynerogers please forward your notes about your thoughts and findings to @YuechengShi, she should be able to make a google docs about this.

@GergelyTuri, just following up on this, I touched base with @YuechengShi briefly and there is a quick plan for this:

• @YuechengShi will quickly write up the process she uses to run the current script
• I'll see if there is any clarification that I feel should be made in terms of data collection
• We'll make sure that any work or changes to the GUI encapsulates these needs
