Player doesn't quit when video ends

I converted a video using the encoder to test out the player that was bundled with the latest version of the TWiLight menu. It works fine, but it doesn't properly end the video. I'd expect the player to attempt to exit to the TWiLight menu like the XVID player tries to, but it instead keeps playing the last keyframe of the video and even allows you to keep going to earlier portions of the video. Is there a technical reason for why you can't make the player close by itself? I can press the power button and it exits just fine.

I don't see why the player would auto-quit when reaching the end tbh. It's better to allow people to skip back to parts of the video if they want to, and they can still exit manually.
