Final Fantasy I & II #109

I have a problem with my DSi XL. When I win Lich there is some sort of script which causes the game to glitch. I tried all combinations of settings but it didn't help.

Can you please provide the save file and instructions on how to reproduce this? Maybe a photo.

Final Fantasy I & II - Dawn of Souls (USA).sav.tar.gz From the menu choose Final Fantasy I (it is selected by default) -> Load Game -> File 1 Press "A" button after which the dialogue will start and the boss fight battle will begin. To win it you can simply choose "Atack" for the first 2 characters (DNO and MASDNN), Kirikk should use Magic -> Diara. KAPUT should use Magic -> Fire. You need to repeat it near 5 times to kill Lich. After the battle ends you will see the glitch.

By glitch do you mean that the game freezes?

Just did it and the game did not freeze on me. Finished the battle and saved. I'm using commit 17.02.2020 19:42 3DS version. I can try it on my dsi now and see if it changes. Just gotta update it. What commit are you using? You'll find the commit and version by pressing the touch screen, then R, then "About Gbarunner2".

EDIT: Game freezes on my DSi as well.

Just tried the DS version on my DSi and I was able to beat the boss and save afterwards without freezing. For now you can try putting the latest DS gbarunner2 arm7 version on your sd card and boot it with twilightmenu++ until this problem is resolved.

This problem has now been solved on the DSi with this build https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200812-130512_d5dc8d8

This issue can be closed as none of the builds have this issue anymore.
