Console: Nintendo Dsi XL, version 1.4.5 Executed in: Twilight Menu v14.1.0 What happened?: The game works very well, but when I first arrived at the city where the castle of the Jewish kingdom is located, the game freezes just when I am going to enter, I tried to go through the eastern bridge but it still freezes.

Try changing one of the cache settings.

I already tried, but it still freezes when I'm about to enter the city.

Update 04/25/2020

I already tried moving the cache settings, deactivating and activating each option of the Gbarunner 2 and nothing, the game now when trying to enter the city I lose control Mario and Luigi, but the music continues playing and the enemies continue to move, but Mario and Luigi I cannot move them nor can I interact with the suitcase.

Try setting NTR clock speed 67 Mhz in twilightmenu++ settings. Make sure vram boost is off. Try disabling center and mask in gbarunner2 settings.

@MrGoned have you tested this on any of the later builds, particularly this one https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200812-130512_d5dc8d8 ? If not would you be able to provide your save from this point in game?

I just tested both hicode and master DSi builds on a DSi when you first get to Beanbean Castle Town and the game does not freeze. I disabled DS main memory icache and had wram icache enabled.

This issue can be closed.

Not that this is super-relevant to the issue, but I was initially very confused by what @MrGoned was talking about when they said "the Jewish kingdom". After some quick searching, I learned that the BeanBean Kingdom is referred to as the "Reino Judía" in the European Spanish translation of the game, and in spanish "judía" can mean either "bean" or "Jewish female" depending on the context. Google translate apparently favours the latter translation, leading to some weird mistranslations across the internet. The more you know!
