F Zero Climax: Time Attack is broken #149

I'm on dsi, and launching through twilight menu. Anyway the rest of the game seems to work fine but when I go into the time attack mode and go to race the game crashes, specifically after you pick the character, track, and your controls. It begins showing the race intro, then at the end it just freezes for some reason. I tried changing the emulation settings which actually made it worse lol, when I did that it ended up being pretty similar but had an extremely loud noise along with it. Is there a way I can fix this currently or should I just wait for the next update to see if it fixes it?

Interesting. I thought I'd checked that when testing the ROM.. I'll check it (eventually) and see if it is something that started happening recently or has always been a problem with all build. Thanks for reporting.

Also I take it you're on the latest pre-release build for dsi from this git?

Yeah I'm on the current pre-release build for dsi

@ley1111 This issue has been confirmed fixed if you use this build on DSi: https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200812-130512_d5dc8d8 This build has some issues with sound during transition to new screen, but that is only an issue due to not being merged with other branches with fixes to this.

This issue can be closed now that Time Attack works on DSi.
