Sound Desync'd #153

Open PedoV opened 4 years ago

PedoV commented 4 years ago

I been looking around might not be a new issue, but my sound is de-sync'd. I play on a Nintendo 3ds xl using the arm9 update. It also runs kinda choppy in town. I tried to play Mega man battle network 6 but the sounds is out of sync and it runs a little choppy. Sorry.

I figured I should say something.

How are you running GBARunner2? Through flashcart or twilightmenu++?

Are you running the dsp or latest master release?

PedoV commented 4 years ago

I am running the latest GBA runner, and I am using a flash cartridge

I am using this one: GBARunner2_arm9dldi_ds.nds

zenseii commented 4 years ago

Sound desyncing is still an issue for some games if you run the DS version of gbarunner2. Since you have a 3ds you are much better off if you can run the 3DS version of gbarunner2, but you will have to run it through twilightmenu++, which requires custom firmware (cfw) on your 3DS.

Okay Ty, unfortunately, I am pretty newb. Mine has acer3ds installed I have no idea how to uninstall. Ty anyway lol <3

RocketRobz commented 4 years ago

Flashcards cannot be "uninstalled".

To install CFW, follow this guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/

PedoV commented 4 years ago

okay ty I will look into it

I installed twlight menu into the SD card on the nintendo 3ds XL. The sound issues are fixed.

Dude, you don't need to post this in every issue. It's enough that you've created a separate issue for it.

zenseii commented 3 years ago

This issue can be closed since there are already others about sound desyncing in DS build and this user solved his by getting cfw on his 3DS.
