There are few leftovers of the previous civilization. Also you have no place to sleep yet.
Describe the solution you'd like
You should be able to find old beds in ruins of houses.
If you sleep in such a bed there is a slight chance that it breaks down. (maybe even in the middle of night)
Broken down beds could be a source of salvaged materials.
Maybe these:
cloth pieces
filling pieces
metal bars
(wooden splinters)
The option to reinforce old beds would also be nice.
Or if you have enough materials you should also be able to craft a bed yourself.

There are mats right now, but that is haphazardly crafted stuff.
They don't represent previous civilizations.
