I've redone and finished the Freedom and Cubic launcher_bg files. I also created the Magma and Basic themes. I was going to make a Minetestia theme, but it didn't turn out well. Freedom is now the default theme.
I put the themes in a separate theme directory like the apps so themes can be added easily. The exception is the Freedom theme, which is in themes.lua.
In addition to this, I made it so that app icons have a background button image that matches the theme.
Some screenies:
Freedom:
Cubic:
Magma:
Basic:
Basic (notepad)
Notice that the app_button textures are behind the app icon, not part of them.
I showed the notepad in Basic because Basic is much different. It uses the normal gray gradient of default buttons instead of the Windows based stuff.
