weird error when I change to "scale = 1;" #14

By default I've been using a value of 2 for the scale - was using low definition images for testing up to now.

Issues:

drawing continues in default mode, "A" state, after running until screen is completely drawn over
other modes render properly after switching modes, do does "A" when switched back to.
loading other images causes .setSize line not to work as expected.
Count display is all messed up.
