the formatting pop-up which is displayed when text is highlighted remains visible after the highlighted text is deleted
personally i find the pop-up annoying regardless - there's already a toolbar for formatting as well as hotkeys and therefore i'd suggest considering either removing it or making it optional
Steps to reproduce
highlight text
delete highlighted text via keyboard DEL key
result: pop-up remains visible even as new text is entered
