Non functional application on macOS High Sierra

Description

App does not function at all. Unable to listen to anything

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch App
2. Click on podcast (imported opml and/or recommended)
3. wait forever

Expected behavior: Ability to launch app and listen to podcasts

Actual behavior: Nothing will play, completeness of loading various components is inconsistent. This is from starting the application (never loads and have to quit. Sometimes comes up on the second run) to loading podcasts (imports from opml and recommended from the app)

Reproduces how often: 100%
