Currently, Get iPlayer Automator allows you to download and watch BBC and ITV shows on your Mac. Series-Link/PVR functionality ensures you will never miss your favourite shows. Programmes are fully tagged and added to iTunes automatically upon completion. It is simple and easy to use, and runs on any machine running Mac OS X 10.7 or later. And since the shows are in iTunes, it is extremely easy to transfer them to your iPod, iPhone, or Apple TV allowing you to enjoy your shows on the go or on your television.

What steps will reproduce the problem? Download from any bbc iplayer programmes failed due to bad proxy (itv player was downloaded normally) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Proxy failed What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 1.3.7.1 (399), 10.7.3 Please provide any additional information below. Get iPlayer Automator Initialized.

Same here and reported but no response yet. In the meantime a google search for UK proxies generated a list of IP addresses. Inserted the first one in the Custom Proxy section under preferences and have been humming along since.

I have just done what Geoff said ion comment 7. I entered the following proxy in the custom proxy section: 212.85.13.166 and it worked a treat. I highly recommend it.

My Substitute Proxy stopped working yesterday, but now the standard provided one seems to be working again, so for me at least everything seems to be back to normal.

I've been having this problem since yesterday. Neither the provided proxy nor any proxy from an updated list work, even though I've checked them and they seem to be valid. I've begun to wonder if there's something wrong with my own network settings.
