No bedrock skins visible. Only on Proxy #147

Describe the bug

I changed to geyser 2.0 on my bungee network. Unfortunately I can't see the bedrock skins on other servers. Only at the lobby. Hope you can help me

To Reproduce

Install Bungeecord Install a Lobby Install one more server

Expected behaviour

Bedrock skin should be visible on all servers

I can confirm that I have had this happen to me. I am assuming your using Geyser Bungeecord. I am unable to tell you why this happens. I switched to Geyser Velocity, and the skins always work 99 to 100% of the time now (even in backend)

Unfortunately Velocity does the same thing for me

It seems to work at the lobby but not on any other subservers. All have the same floodgate folder

Would you mind updating and seeing if the bug still occurs? As this is a Floodgate 2.0 issue more than it is a Geyser issue, I'm going to transfer this issue over to that repository.

Just to confirm that I updated to FG2.0 and Geyser 2.0 and am also having the same issue (Waterfall and Paper). I can see Bedrock skins on the Lobby server and no others. I changed Global Linking: true from false (I am not linking Java and Bedrock accounts), this made no difference.

I added FG2.0 on all back-end servers with Global Linking as true and this also made no difference.

Update....... It appears that my bedrock skin can only be seen on 1 of the back-end servers at a time. It is now not seen on the lobby, this is a Steve skin, but on a different backend server the skin is correct...... interesting

i have same issue and player java can't see player bedrock skin.

This issue is known and improvements to skin handling between the globalAPI/geyser/floodgate will come in the future. Please don't bump this if you have nothing to provide

Found a tempery fix use geyser skin manager
