Unable to brush suspicious sand/gravel

Describe the bug

Players are unable to brush the new sand and gravel types, it starts and then cancels out.

To Reproduce

Go on an SMP, get brush, go to trail ruin and try to brush the sand.

Expected behaviour

It's supposed to work.

Wasn't able to able to replicate with standalone+vanilla, or geyser-spigot+paper. Try this maybe?:

If you have a possible plugin interfering with Geyser or Floodgate, follow these steps to find the culprit plugin:

• Temporarily remove/move half of your plugins from your server's plugins folder.
• If the problem persists, remove another half.
• If the problem goes away, swap that half of your plugins with the other half.
• Keep repeating this pattern, this time with the half that exhibits the problem, until you find your problematic plugin.

I'm experiencing this same issue. Latest 1.20.1 Paper build on the server, latest 1.20.1 Bedrock build on the Xbox and no matter how many times I try brushing the item starts to emerge from the suspicious block and then just recedes back in.

If there is other info that I could provide that might be helpful please let me know. I have minimal other plugins but happy to remove all of them (already tested with just Geyser and Floodgate but saw no difference).

This has been an issue since 1.20 was released and I've been updating every couple of days hoping to see a fix so it's not something that affects just this build.

the unique geyser player of my server dont experience that issue, he play on Android, strange

I was curious about that idea and loaded up Bedrock 1.20.10 on PC. I can verify that on the same server, same exact block that I cannot successfully brush on Xbox DOES work and brush successfully on Bedrock for PC though it interestingly takes about twice as long as on Java.

Can confirm as of new build that this is still an issue. Verified with 2 additional xbox bedrock players. If it is an issue with timing out before brush progress is complete, is there any way to manually change the progress time for bedrock players?

I’m having this issue as well, one of my players on minecraft pocket edition can’t brush sand or gravel. send to work on java though.

Also reporting this issue here, only mods on the server are Geyser and Floodate. Happening to our XBox players. Paper 1.20.4
