No response at the welcome screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set up a new virtual machine in VirtualBox
2. Use the LiveCD to boot the vm.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Entering the system.
The process stays at the welcome screen ("android" logo) and nothing
happened next.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.3 (Mininova torrent)

Please provide any additional information below.
Host WinXP; SP3 VirtualBox 3.0.4

Having same problem-->i am getting an error "drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: Unable to 
open rtc 
(rtc0)" any clue how do i fix it  and the link provided 
"http://www.android-x86.org/" 
img file does not open at all from
