imagine these two situation for a garden with a central database server:
database connection falls temporarily, you cannot do a thing.
laptop is taken to a conference, or another garden, still you would like to show something of your collection.
any ideas?
respectively, just thinking:
nothing, use ODK Collect if possible, or just too bad.
this is more interesting, and I guess the solution would be a csv exporter that can move data across DBMS (in particular, from anything to SQLite), I'm not sure if the current one is capable of that, we should check and possibly put in a unit test.
oh, but there is no need for a new csv exporter... if the goal is to be able to share plants and accessions and species, just export to JSON, create a new (SQLite based) connection, and import the data into it.
