Steam stuck updating #24

I have steam installed on Debian 7.1. When I run steam-debian, from the command line, the update commences. Usually it does not progress, however, on rare occasions it updates to 19mb, then stops.

I've tried multiple times, no matter what I try Steam does not update.

@thefarcry118 Let's start with usual routine. Try launching steam-debian --reset

Strange. I left my box for an hour (I was compiling a few things), and relaunching steam suddenly forced it to download. I'll try in a VM, to see if I can reproduce the issue with --reset.

@thefarcry118 So you are no longer having this issue?

@GhostSquad57 No. --reset forced Steam to redownload its updates, again. This time, it worked.
