Hard rain 2 bugged tank spawn inside elevator #128

While playing hard rain 2 the tank spawned inside the elevator when the
elevator had not yet been activated. So the elevator was still down and the
tank couldn't get out. It ended in A.I taking control and killing itself. Both
teams got the same spawn.

It was not on my server so I can't provide any logs. All I know is that the
confogl version was 2.2.2 and the server was running windows.

Possible solutions: tank teleport on that spawnpoint similar to the ones used
in DEC/NM elevator maps. Also I remember AtomicStryker coding something for
srsmod that checked if the tank can reach the survivors from its spawnpoint,
and if it can't then the tank spawn is delayed until the survivors are
reachable. Maybe ask AtomicStryker if he is willing to share that code.

Its a bug caused by Valve's tank spawning system. Current fix: replay the map.
The problem with AtomicStryker's fix is in theory you could have a tank spawn
delayed until the tank can "reach" the survivors, but "reach" is defined by if
a survivor bot could reach the normal survivors from that spot. If a survivor
bot was in the elevator, the only way it could reach anyone is if they were
also in the elevator. So it could happen in some rare situations that the tank
will be delayed until it is too close to the survivors.

Unless certain tank spawns become common problems (c1m1 and c8m4 are two
examples) we will leave these problems in Valve's hands.
