Fira Monaco is not being correctly identified as Monospace #2

Thanks for the font; really nice! But I observed one issue though.... when ever "i" comes after "f" it puts a space; It's like.... "fi rst" then "Satisfi ed"......any idea how to resolve it? Other words, legatures all look fantastic!

I am on macOS 10.15.7 using iTerm2 Screenshot 2022-01-30 at 11 57 11 PM .
