Hi Dan - The system you're talking about is in there but incomplete and not ready for prime time. I'll finish it up and let you know when it's working.
Great! Thanks Aaron!
Addressed in #521 - should be working now.
One thing that might also be useful is to include the "address" field - although maybe the "address" for members might be different than for the public? I guess if it's "Playing at Somerville Porchfest" that's enough info for someone to find you. Or maybe there should be a "public info" field?
Hmmm, for JP Honk I went to https://www.gig-o-matic.com/band/68/ in a browser where I'm not logged in to gig-o, and saw a long list of gigs (see screengrab included below) that don't belong to our band... ? Also when I point to that same URL but am logged in to gig-o, the list of gigs is empty. Not sure what is going on. Happy to be a 'tester' if helpful for troubleshooting just let me know.
Ugh! Yes, there's a bug in there and you're looking at public gigs from every band. Duh. I'll fix it this evening.
Should be fixed now!

Nice. I'm seeing that now, when viewed by the public i.e. someone not logged in to gig-o, it shows the list of upcoming gigs like it used to (before the reincarnation of gig-o).
When logged in to gig-o, the view at the same URL changes and instead of showing the public-facing list of upcoming gigs, it lists the band members. I assume this is as intended.
Thank you!
With the old Gig-O, near the bottom of the "Band Info Page" I think, there was a list of upcoming gigs (or maybe a link to another page that showed that list).
This was useful. Our band website included a link to it-- so folks outside the band could click there and easily see dates and basic info about our upcoming performances.
It looks like the new Gig-O doesn't offer such a public-facing list of upcoming gigs-- correct?
If so, that's unfortunate-- and I guess I'm making a feature request to bring it back :)
I see that now, near the bottom of "Band Info Page" there is "Public Gig Calendar Feed", which says "Subsrcibe using this link's URL". When I click it, I get an error or a non-useful screen of excessive disordered ~html-ish text, but-- as I understand it-- this is a calendar feed link, that would enable me to subscribe within, say, Google Calendar or equivalent, so that all upcomign gigs would appear on my calendar. Correct? That might be useful to some, but for us I think it's a lot less useful than a public-facing listing of upcoming gigs.
