There should be general guidance on what manual checks should be done before pushing to main branch. This may apply to other processes of development like every commit but unsuring main branch works at all times is key priority.

Good suggestion. Already got guidelines on how branches and commits should be done in the README.md.

Adding more guidelines is good.
