Matches get unbalanced quickly when players leave. An auto balance mechanic to switch players to smaller teams could mediate this issue.

when a new player joins the server, if all teams have the same player count, the team with the lower amount of total booty should get the new player.

changes to the way players are assigned into teams might help balance issues. teams with the lowest total booty will be given first dibs on joining players
