Hmm, all "overlays" have the same small square boxes at each corner, and I never observed or got complaints about their handling. I'm wondering if this, and issue #37 do not both boil down to a selection issue, which should make no problem with a standard mouse and factory mouse precision settings. Can you give more information about your pointing device ? Mouse ? Trackpad ? Touchscreen ?

I don’t think it is a selection problem as I have no problem in high lighting and showing the small square boxes.
