Issue with emulating some Amiibos on a Nintendo Switch #3

I am not sure if this is an issue with the actual Amiibo or if it is due to the write issue mentioned in the other issue.

I have tested a number of them on two games that accept Amiibo (Diablo III: Eternal Collection, Fire Emblem Warriors). In Diablo, the message received for those Amiibos was "Unsupported amiibo was scanned". As for Fire Emblem, it would give the message "Valid amiibo not detected". I made sure that it wasn't due to the daily limit or having scanned it earlier because otherwise it would give a different message.

Amiibos that had an issue with them up until now:

I will be testing them all to know which ones work and which don't but first I need to make sure this isn't related to the other issue so I don't end up wasting my time on them πŸ˜…

==EDIT==

The amiibos themselves were the issue. I have downloaded a number of bin dumps I found online and used the converter for figures that weren't working here. Also removed all duplicates and renamed them based on an unofficial amiibo catalogue I found online which had all of them.

As of writing this edit, I have not yet tested the Animal crossing cards, but aside from that the missing ones I seem to have are 18 Super Mario Cereal/Super Mario Cereal Super Nintendo World/Mario Power-Up Band Super Nintendo World/Luigi Power-Up Band Super Nintendo World/Peach Power-Up Band Super Nintendo World/Daisy Power-Up Band Super Nintendo World/Toad Power-Up Band Super Nintendo World/Yoshi Power-Up Band Splatoon/Octoling Boy Splatoon/Octoling Girl Splatoon/Octoling Octopus Monster Hunter Rise/Palamute Monster Hunter Rise/Palico Super Smash Bros/Ken Super Smash Bros/Snake Super Smash Bros/Isabelle Super Smash Bros/Ice Climbers Super Smash Bros/Daisy Super Smash Bros/Dark Samus The Legend of Zelda/Zelda & Loftwing (Skyward Sword)

I can share the updated database once I finish testing everything. I know that the amiibos I have work for sure but I am not sure if the bin files that I am getting elsewhere match the file name or not, as I am testing them all in Fire Emblem and all amiibos give generic gifts.

I will keep the issue open in case you wanted to update the database or feel free to close it but I just wanted to bring your attention to it ^^

I have tested all amiibos in the Animal Crossing folder, I got a few errors but it was due to me holding the Flipper in the wrong spot. There are four amiibos that aren't scanning at all, no errors or anything. On the Flipper I've upgraded to the latest dev firmware and rebooted it a couple times with no luck.

Series 3 - 257 Klaus Series 4 - 368 Chow Series 5 - 404 Orville Welcome Amiibo - W16 Stu

I also thought it might be the bin files so I've been looking for alternative bins for them and have converted them, however I think all the bins I'm finding are the same as the ones that were uploaded here.

P.S. You can also scan the Super Smash Bros "Villager" amiibo in AC:NH and it will say you can't invite the Villager to Photopia, but next time you load into the game Harvey will ring you and then you'll get access to the Villager's poster.

I apologize for not replying earlier. I have finished scanning all of the amiibos. I found the same figures that were not scanning at all as you said @kasasmit, also the ones on my list, I've found online that the issue is due to the original bin file being a total of 532 bytes and they should have been 540 so I grabbed the original 532, added 8 empty bytes to them, and saved the bin file, then used the converter to get the nfc files out of them.

Right now I have the full online database and they should all be working fine. I will share them with you on this repository. The only issue is that I have renamed them and possibly added or removed some folders, so it will appear as if all the figures have changed.

I honestly prefer sharing an archive of all of them with you and you can feel free to upload them or not on the repository as I said above, I have done a lot of edits to how they are organized.

I will upload it on this issue when I get home as I currently don't have a card reader to get them out of my flipper.
